Any certified individual must possess a complete copy of the official certification and it must be current (not expired). If an individual does not have the certification copy then they are are NOT authorized to work as a Lifeguard outside of the facility they are trained at.
To receive a copy, the individual must speak with the Training Center where they were certified.
Any facility employing a Lifeguard must meet the industry standards for operations, management, and emergency response as outlined in the Model Aquatic Health Code guidelines and/or by the SGE Client Handbook.
